Introducing real-time events and webhooks for SMB credit users

If you're using Hansa's embeddable white label credit tools, your customers are interacting with their credit data every day. They're logging in to check their score. They're checking how a statement was submitted to the bureaus. They're seeing their credit improve for the first time. Before, those moments were largely invisible.

The Hansa events layer

Hansa now emits real-time signals whenever something significant happens in the borrower experience. We call these events, and they cover the moments that actually matter: a borrower accepting a portal invitation, logging in, viewing their credit report, a change in their score, or a statement getting submitted to the bureaus.

You receive these signals through a dispatcher, which is just a delivery channel we configure on your behalf. Today we support two: a webhook endpoint you own, and direct delivery into your Klaviyo account as metric events. Either way, the data arrives in real time and is ready to act on.

Drive better engagement with SMBs

Credit is most valuable to your customers when it's visible and timely. But most creditors have no reliable way to know when a customer is actually paying attention. Are they even opening the portal? Did they see the score improvement from last quarter? Do they know a report was just submitted for them?

Events close that gap. When a borrower logs in for the first time in months, you know. When a score jumps meaningfully, you know. When a report is submitted, you know, and you know whether it was reported as delinquent.

That information is the foundation for relevant communication. A score-improvement notification sent the same day the score actually moved is a different kind of message than a quarterly check-in email. The former actually reinforces the value you're delivering. The latter is easily ignored noise in your customer's inbox.

How to use events

A few examples of what our partners are already using this for:

  • Automated congratulations emails when a borrower's score improves, triggered the moment the change is detected.
  • Onboarding nudges for borrowers who received a portal invitation but haven't logged in yet.
  • Engagement tracking to understand which customers are actively using the credit tools you've made available to them.

Talk to us about your preferred tech or marketing stack. We can wire up the dispatcher on our end for whatever systems you're already using. There's a sandbox environment available if you want to test behavior before going live.

The events themselves are lightweight and consistent. Each one includes a unique ID you can use for deduplication, a timestamp, and the event-specific data: which borrower, which bureau, what changed. Nothing you don't need.

The bigger picture

Hansa is built to make business credit legible, both to SMBs who've historically had little visibility into their own credit standing, and to the credit providers who work with them. Events are a direct extension of that goal. The more signal you have about what's happening in the credit relationship, the better positioned you are to deepen it.
